Our business began as a conversation over tacos, which led to the world’s speediest manifestation of our dream space. Our vision is now a reality: a welcoming spot and one-stop shop for both mental and physical health. The glue that bonds us is our love for the amazing community of Milford and our strong desire to make a difference, all while having a bit of fun. Meet The Founders

Danielle Marconi
CO-FOUNDER
As co-founder of Re:Mind; Mind, body, spirit connectedness and the quality of life are the themes of Danielle’s life.
Danielle has always been interested in alternative medicine. At 16, she was initiated into Reiki level I and by nineteen became a Reiki Master. She earned her BS Psychology at Sacred Heart University and MS Counseling from Chaminade University. Since graduating Magna Cum Laude, she has received her license as a Professional Counselor (LPC). In addition, Danielle studied at The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy and is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). She has been practicing as a massage therapist since 2005, working for chiropractors and creating her own clientele.
Danielle is in her 22nd year as a school counselor in an inner city in southern Connecticut. She has 20 years’ experience as both a personal trainer and fitness instructor. She has completed 500 hours of yoga training and has created her own certified yoga teacher training program. She has successfully owned a yoga studio for 8 years in her community.
Her studies and practice in spirituality continue to be her lifelong passion. Her objectives are simple: touch, motivate, and inspire.

Meredith Munk
CO-FOUNDER
Meredith has always found fulfillment connecting with people and forging relationships. Building a community of supportive colleagues and friends is now her life’s passion.
Formally trained in Fine Arts, Meredith has enjoyed a twenty-year career in both small business and corporate office settings working with luxury apparel and textile brands. After she and her husband started a family, she sought out ways to manage the anxiety and stress so typically experienced by parents juggling work and home life.
In her quest to find alternative routes to wellness, Meredith discovered yoga and meditation-- and everything clicked. After years as a dedicated student, she completed 200 hours of yoga training and has found great joy and personal fulfilment as an instructor. She is also a Reiki II practitioner and certified halotherapist, and continues to further her education in alternative therapies. You’ll frequently find her socializing at the front desk or redecorating the treatment rooms.

Committed to educating her clients on the importance of skin health, Kelleigh ensures they feel comfortable and cared for during each treatment. Her desire to continually learn and grow in her career fuels her dedication to providing the best possible care and personalized services.

Isabel Carrapico
LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Isabel is trained in a variety of techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue and prenatal massage. She likes to combine Swedish and deep tissue elements to create a very personalized session for her clients. Izzy’s top priority is to ensure her clients’ areas of concern are given specific attention and focus so they leave refreshed and rejuvenated.

Melissa Constantini
REIKI 2 PRACTITIONER/MEDITATION INSTRUCTOR/SOUND BATH FACILITATOR
For the past 30 years, Melissa has dedicated her career to Milford Public Schools as an elementary school teacher. In addition to her teaching career, she served as a program coordinator and workshop facilitator for The Graduate Institute, specializing in mindfulness, meditation, and wellness for graduate students.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science from Southern Connecticut State University, along with a Sixth-Year Degree in Learning and Thinking from The Graduate Institute. As a certified Yoga Instructor, Reiki Level 2 Practitioner, and Certified Sound Bath Facilitator, she is deeply committed to promoting self-care and wellness.
Melissa is thrilled to be a part of the Re:mind team. As an educator, she has a special place in her heart for fellow teachers. She fully understands the demands and stress of the job and knows the importance of self-care and wellness in their lives. Melissa is dedicated to supporting all clients, recognizing that everyone can benefit from integrating self-care practices into their daily routines. She believes that self-care is not a luxury but a necessity, and that taking time to nurture ourselves creates a foundation for a healthier and more fulfilling life for educators and all individuals alike.

Alison Larocca
LICENSED ACUPUNCTURIST
Alison completed a three year Master’s Degree with over 600 hours of clinic experience in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at the University of Bridgeport after a life-long interest and passion for holistic health and wellness.
In addition to doing acupuncture, Alison studied Craniosacral therapy with the Upledger Institute and incorporates it into her acupuncture and massage practice, along with cupping and guasha.
Alison also teaches yoga and completed a yoga teacher training at SoulSpace Yoga in Plantsville, CT, and also spent a year studying and making medicine at the Western herbalism and botany at the Blue Ridge School of Herbal Medicine in the mountains of North Carolina. She has worked in a number of different holistic medicine clinics and brings a holistic and integrative approach to each of her patients.

Ryan Lybarger
CHINESE MEDICINE PRACTITIONER/ACUPUNCTURIST/ BODYWORKER/HERBALIST/QI GONG & TAI CHI INSTRUCTOR
Ryan grew up skateboarding, snowboarding, cycling and golfing in Colorado, where he found his passion for the great outdoors and holistic wellness. Knee surgery and injuries from multiple car accidents led Ryan into the health and wellness profession. He studied massage therapy and herbal medicine at Denver Integrative Massage school, where he learned a blend of traditional Thai massage as well as western modalities. East Asian medicine and holistic health inspired Ryan to complete his bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Integrative Therapeutic Practices. During his studies, Ryan practiced massage therapy and taught Qi Gong and Tai Chi at a Chinese medicine clinic in Colorado.
Eager to learn more, Ryan went on to earn his master’s degree in traditional Chinese medicine with a specialization in Chinese herbal medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. During his graduate training he studied shiatsu, tuina, energy work and helped patients in the school clinic with a variety of health concerns. With ten years of experience, Ryan offers a blend of east Asian bodywork styles to help clients resolve their healthcare concerns. He works with a variety of complaints from musculoskeletal issues, pain, fatigue, digestive upset, anxiety, stress, sleep issues and male and female reproductive health. His style of bodywork might include assisted stretching, abdominal massage, tongue and pulse assessment, as well as thorough evaluation of lifestyle habits and health history to offer a unique, clinical approach to massage therapy and bodywork.

Jean Marconi

Jean’s twenty-five year career as a Licensed Professional Counselor allowed her to work with a variety of clients. Her approach is holistic and systemic, looking at the person in their environment and seeking alternative solutions. Jean has been a Reiki Master for thirty years. Her studies are extensive in energetic healing and aromatherapy. She is a true healer.

Megan Murphy, PT, DPT
DOCTOR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY/CERTIFIED CUPPING THERAPIST/TOTAL JOINT REPLACEMENT SPECIALIST/AERIAL HAMMOCK INSTRUCTOR
Megan received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014 from Sacred Heart University. She has spent her career in the orthopedic setting specializing in the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and sports related injuries with a special interest in concussion rehabilitation.
With a strong focus on evidence-based practice, Megan employs a wide variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, cupping, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), and active assisted mobility to help achieve optimal results. She believes in a patient/client centered approach respecting the individual and their movement goals.

J. Tomas Parrales
LICENSED MASSAGE & CRANIOSACRAL THERAPIST/REIKI MASTER
Tomas's journey began in May of 2000, after graduating from Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Westport while working as a masseur in a European Spa in Orange, Connecticut, where he specialized in deep tissue, hot stone, and prenatal massage.
Tomas then worked in a Physical Therapy Center in Greenwich, CT, where his growth steadily continued while working in sports medicine with a variety of patients in a clinical setting— helping with post surgeries, replacements, sport injuries, and managing chronic pain. Gaining a highly successful approach to rehabilitation, he helped with treatment of muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves and connective tissue. In addition to low back pain, neck pain, elbow pain, knee pain, shin splints, carpal tunnel syndrome, running injuries and numerous other conditions.
Tomas's desire to help his clients inspires him to lifelong pursuit of learning. His passion keeps him studying. This has earned him many certifications, to include the world renowned Thai Massage Certification in 2003. Thai massage uses various techniques such as centering, ergonomics, energy lines, and moving clients into healing positions. In 2007, he obtained certification in intensive Cranial Sacral Therapy. In 2014 he achieved his Visceral Manipulation Certification with the Barral Institute, in 2017 he received his Somato Pediatrics Certification with Upledger Institute International. In addition, in 2014 he became a Reiki Master with Anam Cara Center, and in 2015 Tomas earned his certification as a Qigong Level 1 and 2 Instructor with Supreme Science Qigong Center.

An award-winning veteran in the aesthetics industry with twenty-four years of experience, Melissa is internationally trained and certified. Constantly pursuing education and challenges, she specializes in holistic and botanical wellness with a warm and caring touch.

Shannon Webb
PHYSCIAL THERAPY ASSISTANT/CERTIFIED CUPPING THERAPIST/REIKI II PRACTITIONER
Shannon received her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2015 and has mainly worked as a therapist in an outpatient, orthopedic settings treating a wide variety of diagnoses. She has been a clinical instructor to multiple physical therapy students, hoping to pass her experience on to her new colleagues. Her passion has been in the manual therapy aspect of treatment, learning multiple skills that can be applied to many ailments.
Shannon became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in 2017, in which she worked with many patients who suffered from abnormal swelling as result of cancer, surgery, or other trauma to the body. Since then, she has learned therapeutic cupping, other instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), visceral mobilization for GI concerns, and scar tissue management. She is also a level 2 Reiki practitioner, which adds an extra level of healing and relaxation to any treatment. Shannon aspires to apply her knowledge and skills to achieve the most positive outcome based on the goals set by the clients.

Cheryl Yeager
LICENSED MASSAGE & CRANIOSACRAL THERAPIST/REIKI MASTER
Cheryl's mission is to provide clients with high-quality services and botanical products in a nurturing, safe and therapeutic environment.
Her sessions are customized and aim to reduce stress, increase relaxation, relieve or help manage pain and improve mobility. She offers an integrative approach to wellness, intended to compliment other lifestyle changes and healing modalities her clients may be pursuing.
Cheryl also performs ritual foot soaks and has partnered with Re:mind to develop small batch, handcrafted botanical blends of salt soaks, body scrubs and fragrances.

Michele Cerino
MEDITATION & YOGA INSTRUCTOR
For the last 31 years, Michele served public school students in Connecticut as a teacher, administrator, and advocate for social-emotional learning and mindfulness. She believes that “Educating the mind without educating the heart, is no education at all.” (Aristotle).
Michele earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a Master of Science in education and a 6th year certificate in school administration. Last spring, she completed 200 YTT at Bend Yoga. She is finding peace and happiness living at the beach, spending time with her grandsons, and pursuing her passion for yoga.

With over 15 years of experience in human resources, Corrine is a passionate people person with a proven track record of providing HR leadership, consulting, and coaching within various client service industries.
At Re:mind, she leverages her high emotional intelligence, strong business acumen, and natural enthusiasm to create and maintain a soothing and supportive environment for all employees and clients.
In addition to offering HR consulting and administrative support, Corrine is Reiki II certified with an affinity for environment organization and energy clearing. She is a professional photographer as well, which allows her to capture her love for people through images of others.

Meghan has over ten years of experience in the field. In addition to private practice, Meghan works as a school social worker and is highly in tune with the challenges children, adults, and families face on ongoing bases.
Meghan utilizes a holistic approach to therapy through relationship-centered and solution-focused interventions. Her encouraging and supportive therapeutic style is supportive through a lens of compassion, cultural competence, and care for you as an individual. Meghan uses Cognitive Behavioral approaches to therapy as well. She will meet your individual needs through a partnership that provides empathic feedback and real-time solutions. She will help you overcome challenges while maintaining a patient demeanor. Meghan believes working together empowers you to enjoy lasting progress.

Michael is committed to guiding clients towards positive change. With expertise in Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-focused counseling frameworks, Michael aims to empower clients to recognize and challenge maladaptive thoughts and behaviors. By emphasizing strengths and fostering self-confidence, Michael creates a supportive environment where clients can thrive and achieve their goals.
Michael is currently a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and obtained his MA and professional certification in School Psychology from Fairfield University in 2014. His decade of experience and current role as a school psychologist in an urban high school setting allows him to understand and help clients navigate the interrelated difficulties found in home, work, school, and community environments.

Lisamarie Indovina

Lisamarie believes in the power of healing by way of the mind, body, and spirit connection. Her approach is all-inclusive of the individual, family, systems, and environment. She provides tools and strategies that focus on the physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing of an individual. Dedicated, kindhearted and honest, she encourages her clients to live more fulfilled lives. She is able to access various modalities of healing— including mindfulness and spirituality, cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused, strength-based therapy, narrative and play therapy for her pediatric clients.
Lisamarie strives to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere where clients are free to unveil their truest selves. She believes in working together to identify practical ways to create positive and lasting changes to restore balance in one’s life. Lisamarie leads with enthusiasm and compassion, embracing the individual “where they are” and assisting them in a guided journey toward healing and wellness.
Lisamarie earned her Master’s in social work from Boston University. For the past 13 years she has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, (as a healthcare clinician and in providing emergency crisis and psychiatric care), child welfare agencies, community mental health centers, non-profit organizations and schools working with children in grades K-12. Currently, she works full-time as a school-based clinician, providing mental and behavioral health and wellness to children in grades K-5. She is dedicated to expanding her training and education in alternative therapies and treatment modalities.

Alex Wielogorski
LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
Alex is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her BA from the University of Connecticut and her MSW from Sacred Heart University. Her open and curious attitude to life has afforded her opportunities to work with diverse populations such as children with Autism, students of all ages, substance users and culturally diverse clients, for example working with them in their native language, Polish. She currently works full-time at Milford's local mental health authority supporting dual diagnosis clients dealing with substance use and mental health diagnoses. Her approach is collaborative, culturally competent, supportive and motivational to help meet clients where they are and support their autonomy.
Alex is a strong advocate for a whole-person, mindful approach to mental health. She takes time to get to know an individual to better address their needs and curate a unique treatment plan to help achieve specific goals. Trained in a variety of techniques and clinical interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acudetox and EMDR, Alex is passionate about continuing education to best serve diverse clients and their unique needs while keeping up with the latest research and developments in wellness.
When she is not in office, Alex likes to practice self-care by spending time with her dogs, Bondi and Arlo, as well as her family, reading, and cooking.

John J. Maturo
LIFE COACH/MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER
John is an accomplished coach with decades of experience in many of the important facets of life. He began his career in health and fitness, training to compete in amateur bodybuilding, a journey that eventually lead to his design, development and ownership of World Gym Plus. There John put to test not only individual results, but also educated the teachers that would instruct his valued members.
During his tenure of more than fifteen years in fitness, he examined many aspects of exercise, diet and motivational coaching. He was so enthralled with the idea of assisting more people that he relocated to New York City with the goal of building yet another center. There he came across a global coaching and self-help seminar group. He held a position as Introduction Leader for more than three years while personally investing 7,000 hours to coach a vast array of people in specialized areas of interest including business, health, family and finance.
In 2003 he founded nudevelopment LLC, a New Haven based company. He is responsible for many modern projects, including luxury condominiums, hotels, and restaurants in the state while conducting executive coaching and consulting services for small businesses operating here in Connecticut.
John holds professional licenses and degrees in culinary arts, building construction, investments, health, fitness and commercial transportation. A self-proclaimed “Divinci,” he employs a consortium of knowledge, experience and passion along with his practical ability to transform everyday lives into masterpieces.
