What is Guided Meditation + Energy Work?

This meditation begins with breathwork to settle the nervous system and is followed by brief guided visualization for relaxing the body. As you rest, we will perform short Reiki energy clearings on you.

Essential oils and crystals are also used to aid in relaxation.

What is Tai Chi and Chai Tea?

Join us for an introduction to internal martial arts and healing.

This class explores the health benefits of internal martial arts practices, meditative movement and mind-body unity with practical and effective exercises.

Ryan draws from a background in traditional Thai massage, traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese internal martial arts.

Over the past few thousand years many different styles of gongfu or kungfu have been developed throughout China. The three classical styles of Chinese martial arts are xingyiquan, baguazhang and taijiquan, or Tai Chi.

Tai Chi is a style of gongfu and it is a system of moving meditation designed to promote health and longevity when practiced regularly.

People who practice regularly often notice improvements in joint mobility, experience a reduction in low back and knee pain, improved joint stability, better balance, enhanced breathing capacity, improved concentration and cognitive functioning as well as a reduced risk of falling.

Learn movements that can be done seated, standing and moving/walking.

Participants will learn a variety of concepts relative to both internal martial arts and traditional Chinese medicine along with practical exercises that can be done with no equipment and little space.
